FALL

FALL has arrived!

It's my absolute FAVORITE season, and although it's not as glorious in Florida, as it is up North, I'll take it! The humidity has dropped, it's become darker earlier, and there is a slight chill in the air during my morning walks with Murphy.

I have a "hot cocoa with marshmallows" candle burning, and it's starting to feel a little bit cozier over here. I just love this time of year. Fall starts the yearly festivities. Our Birthday's are in the Fall, our Anniversary and holidays to follow. There is just so much to celebrate!

We visited Santa's Christmas Tree Forest the other day with some friends, and it was great! Orlando peeps, if you haven't taken your kids, please do. Pony rides, a zip line, spooky maze, petting zoo and pumpkins galore. They will love it! We get our tree there at Christmas time too. It's all about the experience!

Have you ever had Trader Joe's Pumpkin Waffles? SO good, with just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. And only 3 Weight Watchers points by the way. Sometimes I just heat one up for a quick snack. Trader Joe's also makes the best apple cider donuts, but grab them when you see them, because they go fast!

Check out this cute FALL scavenger Hunt for kids that you can print out for free. Tommy, Mike and I headed out over the weekend in teams to find all the Fall items. It was something nice to do to get us out of the house! 

Need some Fall foliage? Costco has nice big pots of Perennials right now for $9.99 a pot. Yellow, white, purple, or a rust  color. I grabbed four purple to line the front of our house and they look great!

I found this recipe to make with Tommy, because I think he's old enough to appreciate a good caramel apple now.

I am loving this "Boho" Fall wreath,  and this "contest winning" chocolate chip pumpkin bread is the perfect Fall bread/ hostess gift!

And lastly, Fall means Mike and Tommy have been decorating the house for Halloween. It's THEIR holiday to handle the decor and Mike even added a little bit of Halloween flare to our living room shelves. Can you guess which item?
