French Riviera Anyone?

I love to travel! Only problem? It takes time and $$$$!
I'm also a lover of Foreign films. They're a great way to escape for a while in the privacy of your own home. Whenever I feel like taking a little vacation, I pop in a Foreign film. If it's a French film, I go with a French theme. I grab a cup of coffee and a croissant, or a glass of French champagne, and take off for a few hours.
"PRICELESS" is my all time FAVORITE French romantic comedy. It stars Audrey Tautou (my all time fav french actress) and I think I've watched it a hundred times. Her wardrobe alone in this movie is to die for! If you haven't seen it, it's a MUST!

Through a set of wacky circumstances, a young gold digger mistakenly woos a mild mannered bartender thinking he's a wealthy suiter. Read more HERE.

If you like French films, you may like Paris, Je T'aime, which is a collection of short films set in Paris (all by different directors). There's something in there for everyone. I'm also very fond of The Girl on the Bridge, another French film.

There's an Israeli documentary-ish film called The Beetle which is totally charming, if you can find it.

For a fun comedy, Chef's Special from Spain is awesome and goes great with tapas. :)

If you're in the mood for a rather introspective thriller, I love Revanche, an Austrian film. Also good is The Lives of Others, from Germany.

This is all super euro-centric, so I'll end by suggesting Shall We Dance? from Japan!

I love love love love looooooooove this movie so much! Absolutely agree about the wardrobe and also love her hair. You may also like Beautiful Lies, it's not as glamorous since it's set in a small French seaside town, but equally charming.
