Gray/Grey Obsessed

VIA

I LOVE gray! Is it GRAY, or GREY? After doing a little bit of research, I found that they are basically the same thing. In America, we spell it GRAY, while GREY is the British, Canadian, Australian, Irish, New Zealand and South African spelIing. Either version is acceptable in America. There's a little trivia for ya! Regardless, I am gray/grey obsessed!
I painted my guest room a deep grey a few years ago, and it continues to be my favorite room in the whole house. There is something about gray that is so clean looking and calming. Maybe thats why people continue to visit. Hmmmmmm. Check out these gray/grey ideas.

It's easy to add shades of gray into any room without overdoing it! Simply add a few throw pillows. I love the 3 shades of gray pillows above, or these cozy blankets in shades of gray below.

I actually just bought a gray handbag yesterday. It's a little more metallic but still gray. I'll take this one below too please!

Look how pretty this bridal bouquet is with gray accents. I see this for a winter wedding.

Another way to add grey into your decor is to paint a piece of furniture. Look how great this chest looks!

I love grey very much, both in interior design and for my wardrobe. It makes other colours look beautiful and yes, I think you are right about the calming effect. xxx

Gray is my favorite color by far! It's so funny how I always tend to choose a gray top and I put gray J Crew dresses on my girls for my wedding. Great post.
