Fun finds

A few years ago, I was bitten by the vintage/thrift store bug! I only wish I discovered my obsession sooner! You find the most unique treasures at a thrift store and you can't beat the prices! Look what I found today while ducking into a thrift store on my lunch break!

I LOVE hippie handbags. Anytime I see one I snatch it up! This one is especially unique because it has the initials "JFP" etched into the front flap. I love that! And you wouldn't believe the price. Ready? $11.99! How could I turn it down right? Then, on my way up to the register this little book "Coffee with The Buddha," was sitting on the counter calling my name. Anyone who knows me knows I have a whole bookcase FULL of every self help, spiritual, new age book ever written. For just $2.99 it was perfect to add to my collection. Do you have any special thrift store finds?

Love the bag! and yes. I bought an indonesian wood carving at a consignment shop for $40 and later saw it in a boutique by the beach for $400! The exact one. A proud moment. - A

Wow, that bag is awesome. Thrift store shopping is a passion of mine. My new thing is to find amazing china pieces with very ornate detail. When I have people over, I set the table in all of the mixmatched china. I love to see where people sit. It's interesting to see what pattern they are drawn to.

I found a great Coach purse at a thrift store here in Titusville for $30, it's in great condition too!! I've been wanting one forever but just can't see spending $80 or more on a purse, so when I saw it I had to have it!! I haven't used it yet, I'm saving it for something special, I am very happy to have it! :-)
