Fall has arrived!
The spiced candles are burning, the house is decorated, I've got a pumpkin bread in the oven and Mike and I are watching "Chef." Have you seen it? It's GREAT!
I just love the Fall. It's my absolute favorite season and what makes me miss living up north the most. Well, that and my family of course!
Florida has been so HOT. A cold front is supposed to be moving in, and I'm hoping it lasts. I am longing for some boots and sweater weather around here.
I took Tommy to the pumpkin patch today, and he was in pumpkin heaven! He ran around those pumpkins for an hour, and I gladly let him. I'm sure we'll return a few more times before Halloween.
Speaking of pumpkins, have you ever seen these adorable "pumpkin branches?" When I laid my eyes on them I thought they couldn't be real. But they are, and they are perfect on my mantle. I got them where else? Trader Joe's!

Started making roasted veggies last week. I've been making huge batches and passing containers off to friends because they are so easy, and just SO GOOD!
Take sweet potato, zucchini, brussel sprouts, mushrooms, red onion, califlower, a can of chickpeas, yellow squash, cherry tomatoes, EVOO, sea salt, pepper, and dried basil. Chop, mix together, and toss with the olive oil in a large pan. Heat at 400 degrees. Just keep watching and stirring every 15 minutes or so. Again...... SO GOOD!

Tommy's Halloween costume arrived and to say he is thrilled is an understatement! I mean....... could you die?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
