1st Father's Day

Father's Day was a very exciting day in our house being that it was the first! Michael is a better father than I could have ever imagined, so I wanted to make Father's Day extra special.
He usually takes Tommy in the morning so I can sleep in an extra hour, but this morning I told him to stay in bed and Tommy and I could make him a special treat. We are big fans of "breakfast in bed" so that's the way I started the day!

Pancakes, topped with 2 eggs over easy (NO SYRUP), strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and hazelnut coffee.

He likes to mix it all together!

(Gift and cards on a silver platter!)

We decided to skip lunch and do "Linner" (lunch/dinner) instead. So........

We had strawberry salads, papadelle with ground turkey and vodka sauce, Amstel lights, coffee and swedish biscuits for dessert.

I think Michael had a nice relaxing day with his son and that's the most important thing. Hope all the fathers out there had a great day!

Nice job on the first Fathers Day Lea!! Now of course you'll have to live up to that every year but something tells me you're up for the challenge.
