Pita Pizza

I've been under the weather for the past few days, so today I stayed home to get well! I'm a bit over chicken noodle soup, so I decided to make one of my famous Pita Pizzas!
I started making pita pizzas a few months ago when I had nothing in my house but leftover pizza sauce and pita bread.
Heathier than pizza with regular pizza dough, pita pizza is easy AND delicious!

ALL YOU NEED:
Pita Bread (I chose multigrain)
shredded cheese (I mix of mozzarella and cheddar)
A jar of pizza sauce
A jar of chopped or minced garlic

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spoon sauce over your pita bread and mix in 1 tsp. of minced garlic. Add as much or as little shredded cheese as you like and add toppings.

As far as toppings, choose what you love. I chose cherry tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, onion and fresh basil. Then at the last minute I topped my pizza off with some sliced black olives. Yum!

Bake for 10-13 minutes. Keep watching your pizzz. I like my pizza well done so I bake mine for about 15 minutes. Pita Pizzas are a great idea for parties, or a family with different pizza topping tastes!
